Ebony & Ivory..

Ebony and Ivory,

the colours of the piano keys.

Playing sweet melodies to my ears.

Music that is comforting and absorbed inside

my brain.

Giving me sheer bliss and pleasure to behold.

I watch the maestro play.

With such artistry and skill.

I am blown away.

By the sights and sounds.

He grants me to hear.

I am overcome with pleasure

and happiness.

That moves,

me beyond simple words.

Listening to the piano seems
to have such a present

and charm.

That evokes emotions

that I need to express

here within this prose poem.

And here did so.  :)
