The Human condition...

I really despair sometimes.

In this world with the humans

on it.

Everyone is basically in a hurry. No one

is actually being nice to complete

strangers. Everyone moody and distant

and unfriendly.

On the odd occasion, you actually

get someone being nice for nice

sake. Which is a rarity?

Everyone seems to be obsessed with

money and a great job and a nice home

with fancy items inside it to keep them

entertained and comfortable.

I really am turning to a cynic in my old age.

Finding it really hard to believe humans are

actually nice in general of late.

To me, that is very sad. That am thinking

and feeling this way.

When all I see and hear is bad things. Other

humans do to each other.

I try so hard to think alternatively that goodness

is in this world. But daily news reminds you of

the fact bad people are around. And affects us all.

In some way.

The bad things make the newspapers because they make sales. Good things don't sell newspapers. There are many good people about who do charitable work and really care about others. They are there. True there are the others as well, but I think I have a more optimistic outlook on life. Also if you watch TV, you only get the bad news reported. It will be interesting to see your responses from other readers Dawn.

Thanks Chris, and what you said is so true, nice stories rarely make the news. It's always gloom and doom. I do agree. Seem to have lost the optimistic feeling on this one though Chris. thanks Dawn.
