Happiness verses Materalistic Happiness

Some people find happiness easy to come by

and others find it really hard to find.

Some people think you have to spend a fortune

on expensive items and belonging to get that

happens they deserve.

Whereas to me, simple things make me happy.

That cost nothing. Just enjoying a beautiful day.

Being with someone I love, our cat. Even just

having a good hearty laugh.

Life is hard for us all.

But materialistic items are nice don't get

me wrong. Who would not love something

new and expensive? But does it make you

really happy always? Or are you looking

for the next best things to top the last

good item you bought before to extend

that happiness?

Simple pleasure really are worth more

to me.
