Ce La Vie...

I never understand

why people are your friend

one minute and not the next.

Fair weather friends come and go.

But true friends last the course.

Via good time and bad times.

Sadly life is like that and

so are human beings.

Some here today

gone tomorrow.

Some come and go.

Just like the weather.

Great days and bad.

Ce la Vie.

Such is life.

You've said it Dawn. Ce la vie. It is sad that We can't trust people but the trick is recognising constant friends. I have to say that there are often two sides to a story which can be hard for us to see sometimes. My personal suggestion is that you could miss out the last line as it repeats the one before.
Most of us will empathise with your poem.
