with a little tinsel around the tree.

Cheap and cheerful for Christmas

did for us. As a kid.

And of course the cards from

neighbours and friends placed around

the picture frames and on a sideboard.

Nowadays. It expensive and exotic

real or artificial Christmas Trees with

fancy lights and  hang themed decorations

with animated mobile trains, Santa Claus

and so forthwith. To fill your house from

top to bottom.

And for outside inflatable characters lights

and so much more besides.

It's more about flash the cash than the true

sentiments of Christmas for me.

Caring and sharing and loving one another.

Then what did you get for Christmas? I got

this and this and that.

Too commercialized and money making that

the true spirit of the season.

I am being a humbug. Misery guts.
