If i could I would heal you.

i want to run a thousand miles

but you need me,

as Iam scared to

for you and me

I want to take your pain away

but can not.

I want to make you whole again

but can not.

I am only me.

I wish I could so all

these things and more

for you but i can't.

In a good way not

bad of course.

I do love you honestly

I do with all my heart

but sadly I just can't

cure you wish I really

could thou.

With all my heart and

much more.

People need to heal themselves sometimes in life if they choose ways that cause self harm and illness- mental or physical but know it’s wrong then nobody can help except themselves- sad truth- I wish I could heal the world- wonderful words and thoughts🌹

Dawn,
There is the reality of brokenness in this world that is true. We must be careful to not make people our projects. It is important that the integrity of being responsible for life given to each one-to hurting friends. To come along side and be a friend is great an to be trusted is great. Fortunately there are many ways people can find relief or help for pain. It is not hopeless and all of us can help by being supportive and encouraging. Great poem!
