Debauchary

Debauchary

A Poem by Onlyme

The burning embers
and glowing flames
fanning around
the darkened room
filling it with
warmth and anticipation.
The cackling witching
with their brooms
walking around
the open fire
chanting
a summoning spell
to bring forth
a demon from hell
The Blaze
is a roaring
the incarnation
is at full speed
the sparks do fly
the smell turns sour
the witches they do grin
and wring their bony hands
and black gowns  and pointed
hats with glee
Coming forth from hell
the devil himself.
Bright glowing red as thou
on fire himself.
Eyes that are
so intoxicating they seduce you
with just one look.
And his wicked grin
does beckon you
to him hither.
His pointed long sharp talons are his fingers
and nails. Reaching out to grasp you...
The witches prance and dance
and snigger
for the debauchery
to commence.
The smell of stench and blood and vile
the babbling of his summoners do
cheer.

That was so evocatively creepy. Loved the dark scenes that the text gave effect to, and the correspondence of the write to its title. Great work!
