Moments of Joy

A moment of joy

To make your heart

sing inside and out.

Sharing a laugh.

Seeing a rainbow.

Letting a butterfly

land on your hand.

Watching the sunrise

and the sunset.

Walking hand-in-hand

with the one

you love.

Sharing a smile with

a stranger on your

morning commute

to work or home.

Seeing your baby

walk for the first

time.

Let alone the first word.

These to me are

moments of joy.

Moments of joy. Often, it's the smallest things we miss once we walk back down memory lane. We don't even realize how much we'd miss such small happenings. The mind is such a funny thing because it retains slight details that evokes such pleasant feelings. This piece causes one to feel grateful and fortunate for what we do have. Moments are fleeting. We can't take back our time. Though gone, we'll always something to hold on to and recollect with love. I enjoyed this. Great read.
