To Triumph

When you look at my face?

Do you actually see me?

Or just a pretty face.

Not someone who has

suffered and felt things

been abused and let down.

Hurt and even wanted to

kill me

so many times

in the past.

But,  I looked my demons

in the eyes.

And said, "F**k You".

You pieces of s**t

I will not let you define me

and rule me

and break me

no more.

I will overcome

and be me.

For me.

And to triumph over you

and all the evils

on this earth.
