Full Moon & God...

Riding upon the crest of the waves

inside a tiny sailing yacht

bobbing up and down

upon the tranquillity

of the ocean's sway

I sat relaxed and chilled

and even so calm

enjoying this bliss-filled

single night.

I sat and watched

a Full moon arise upon the water's edge

As bright and so colourful of firey red

and of Golden Yellows and Pure Brilliant White

with touches of

Browns, Greens, Oranges added to the

perfect blended mix.

To paint a magical picture of this

said moon before my very eyes.

Upon a dark lit perfectly still nights sky

Lighting up the heavenly above

for me to see clearly God image

sitting on. That said moon.

I was shocked and in awe

and sat in wonderment

and God came down to sit with me.

I smiled,  he took my hand

and then gave me a hug.

And stayed awhile.

I felt blessed and honoured

and fulfilled.

And then woke up in my bed

as happy as could be.

I share this gift of one said great dream

with thee.

As I felt,  this was so joyous uplifting,

and hopefully

as well as overwhelming awesome

dream of god to have and share

with all.

this is beautiful Dee, soulful, passionate and emotional, I know that at some points You couldn't convey what You wanted through words, but You did with Your feelings, to be so close to God, to feel him everywhere around You, to embrace this overwhelming bliss, is not to be only expressed but to be felt, Your opening lines were amazing, thank You for sharing a piece of You, it's wonderful to read something like this from You.

Excellent piece! I've always loved poems that focus on the beauty of nature, and this poem paints an amazing picture. The imagery flowed so perfectly, I could visualize the scene taking place.
