Get Better Or Just Die?

 Life really does smack you in the face

and make you re-evaluate your life

and the course you are travelling along at times.

 

It gives you an awake up call.

And makes you take note.

It does not give you an option.

To really ignore it.

Of if you do.

You can not for very long.

You can play chicken with your life.

With an uncaring,

I don't give a Hoot attitude.

But eventually, it does catch

up with you big time.

And then you have to make choices.

Do you want to get better or just give

up and die?

And those questions only you make?

You can only be carefree and unconcerned

or uninterested in your own health and

well being for so long.

Before it comes and bites you in the a*s.

So every time you do drugs, alcohol, and

other self-district addictions.  It's only

a matter of time. Before you kill yourself

or shorten your lifespan.

You have got to learn to like you. Bit by bit

and start to look after you better for you.

No one else will unless you ask for help.

Before it's too late.

Are you really happy as you are addicted to

something that actually kills you everytime

you take it?

Reality is NO YOUR NOT!

A mock to addiction and carelessness of health and inspiring at the same time....your insider feelings are blending with your writings wonderfully!
They say they're shackled by addictions...when the reality is they prison the addiction inside them....and even if they can set the addiction free from their body, they don't except few who really want life heavenly....

this is one eye opening piece there is no solution seen with any addiction being formed

Sound advice here Dee. There are many who could improve their health and way of life greatly by changing their lifestyle. I'm not saying that's an easy thing to do, but it can pay huge dividends. Wise words.
