Not Being True To Oneself.....

I find it rather sad

how the majority of people

find it hard,

to be honest

with themselves

and particularly others

around them.

My trouble is

I am too honest

and open

and express

how I

feel.

No matter what.

Then other times.

I worry too

much.

I have upset others.

By

my honesty.

As I realize.

I live in a world

where most people

wear a

mask.

And hide behind it.

And pretend

all is well and rosy

 When actually inside

they are dying.

And pretending all is great

in their own life.

How tragic and sad

that is to feel fake

towards yourself

and not to be

able to be honest

with loved ones

around you.

let alone more

so towards yourself.

Due to their reactions,

and how they will treat

you afterwards.

No matter

who they

are mother,

father,

sister, brother

and so on...

Some just dont have the aptitude to deal with things ...so they look away blindly and others build walls and honestly just dont see it. I am told regularly that I often hurt people with my truths...i find it odd that they feel lies are more compassionate.

The truth is Queenie the majority of people can not handle the truth when told it so take offence due to the fact. That is basically what it comes down to. They want things said to them so they do not feel anything.
