Sweet Angel of mine

I need you in my life

To hold my hand

and keep me close

and shield me for my woes

At times I don't see you

or feel you very close.

I miss your comforting ways

and gentle guiding way.

I know you care and love me

Just of late.

I am lost.

I know,

I have lasted this long on earth

Because you have always helped me.

When I need you.

And show me love

in many ways.

Like yesterday you came to me

and help me on my way.

With little things.

That made my day

more pleasant to

carry on with

another day.
