Lighthouse.......

I am a lighthouse

in a major storm

trying to hold fast

and not shake and break

with the lightning bolts

and noise shaking my

foundations.

I have my light of hope

aloft me beaming in

all direction.

Yet,  I am still weathering

the storm.

Battered and bruised

and in such pain

holding tight

until the calm

return.
