Never Gone... Always Alive...

comfort in knowing...

I wonder if God

came down to earth

To show and tells

us

he did suffer

as well

as us

And his death

is like

our very own

not in vain

even on the

day we part

and leave

this earth

We shall

live on in

the afterlife

and beyond

simple thoughts

and

knowledge of

time

and the

universe

We are at one

with God

and

everything

We are at peace

in heaven and

all around

We will find

unlimited

comfort and

undying love

true compassion

understanding

joy and overwhelming

hope

and never ever

suffer

once more.

Because of God

is at our table

each and every day

Holding our hands

in prayer and

thoughts

helping us

healing our

families right

below us all

each and

everyday.

With fond

remember of

moments we did share

Clips of smiles

and love

As well as

comfort in our hearts

and souls.

And photos

placed in permanent

places around our

homes

to console

and heal our daily

needs.

We are never

ever going to

be forgotten

or left behind

As in our hearts

and mind and souls

We will rise again

also.

Lovely religious potry written, I felt with skill and sensitivity. I especially liked the concluding stanza beginning "We are never ever going to be forgotten..." giving as it does (for me) the idea thatevryone matters-I am reminded of John 3:16 and the word "whosoever"
