Emotional disaster

spinning like a top

on full power

never end spinning

mood swings

up and down

trying very hard

to keep the light within

turned on

and that smile upon my

face

but it keeps slipping

and falling to the ground

I pick it up definitely

and place it

back on

my face

once more

Never give in to

bad times

never give it to pain

never give in to lost hope

and always remembering

a new day is ahead

I woke up this morning

to think.

Oh god not again

and as the day has progressed

it has got better

bit by bit

never give up hope

of one day

it will

be okay

yet once again

like a rollercoaster

up and down we go

on the fairground ride

hopefully not

falling out

or getting

stuck up high

but managing to

complete

the whole course

and get off alive.
