Where is the love & Caring Ways......

Where is the love & Caring Ways......

A Poem by Onlyme

He was in a wheelchair.
But it was like
no one saw him.
As he wheeled passed on the
pavement.

Another young girl she had
Down Syndrome
and a bunch of girls. passed her.
I heard snigger from said girls. Anger
filled me with sadness.

Someone not so pretty faced
or even  an overweight  person
are up for ridicule and made to look
the butt of a joke for others.

How cruel and evil some people are

Who are they to judge others

Most people seem to have this perfect image
inside their mind's eye.
Abled bodied, handsome, good looking
a fit and healthy human being young and
intelligent.

What in the hell is normal?

We all come in all different shapes and sizes,
Abled bodied and not so able-bodied.

But if you someone different from the average lot.
You seem to stand out more. Or get ignored even
further. The reality of life is shameful and sad.
That not everyone is treated equally with respect
and dignity. Let alone kindness and a caring attitude.

Let alone if they are the same-sex relationship or transexual
and walking up the road.  Leave them alone.  As long as they are happy.
What is it to you. None of your business basically.

Everyone has a right to be happy.

Yes I agree with you
Ex cyclist > we had a chap in our club - Something wrong with his legs = All twisted they were
He had difficulty to climb onto his trike
But once there his disability was no more
He got help if he asked > We learned not to offer > it was refused
