Between being too honest

and direct and  being just

plain nasty and spiteful?

Just to offend

and hurt someone.

Good question. I think it has to do with how emotional or thick skinned the person on the receiving end is, or whether they asked for the honesty or not. It is hard to take criticism in any for, but it the greatest building block for introspection and growth. Great thought for the day Dee.
