Honesty & Candour

Makes me wonder?

Is honesty,  always the best policy?
Or is it sometimes.
Best to tell a white lie?
To not hurt someone,  deeply
or even slightly?  With your
candour!

Or does it all depend on

the situation and topic?

white lie A lie in order to be polite or to stop someone being upset, by telling the truth.

Candour A quality of being honest and telling the truth. Especially in difficult and embarrassing subjects.

I don't know how others gonna take this...but honesty...yess always been and is the best policy...but I guess in some complicated situation...or in any delicate matter a lie if can save life then it's fair to use....I mean not to deceive or hurt anybody...but in case of defeating Satan or evil...

You have posed the age-old question which I don’t believe has an answer. Right now, we are getting a firehose of huge significant lies from our government, so I think most people would do anything for some honesty over here! But in reality, I’ve been blown off a hundred times for saying the truth, even in the most delicate way I know how! I don’t think there’s a clear way thru this, so I love that you pose it as a question unanswered! (((HUGS))) Fondly Margie

Thanks Margie, I do agree can not truthfully answer this one. It all depends on circumstances and situations I suppose!

I'm often asked why do I write so much about nudism and sexual encounters!
I reply with a little white lie. I often wish I could be young again and experience some of what is in the stories!!
