The Shy one!

shy nervous and uncomfortable with other people

She is the one who sits at the back of the class
and dare not put her hand up to answer
a question.

She is the one who sits alone at lunchtimes
far away from everyone else.

She never talks to anyone at breaks. She
is a loner?

Have you ever thought why?

Could she be shy?

Do you know how hard it is for
someone who is shy to come out there
shell?

I can tell you it is very hard.

Please be patient and kind
and consider a loner
someone who could
use a friend.

Yeah! I was such back sitting timid at my kinder garden years....and so the mocks wasn't less at me....but days changed and though didn't found any real life bestie still can pull up some guts I feel...and I try...hope every loner will find a face to share her inners...thanks for sharing Dee!☺

my collegemates thoughts on me was rude and proudy girl from private school.actually I didn't quite cared back then but later when I was being ignored and never included in their plans,I was quite hurt.but after long period of time when we became close friends they said I was more crazy and friendly than expected..

I used to be extremely shy, and I still am to a degree. College has really brought me out of my shell, but it is still very hard to go out of my comfort zone. I think that many people can relate to this poem. Sometimes it is nearly impossible for people to say what is on their mind. I think that it is very important for all of us too look out for those who seem especially encumbered by shyness and extend a hand. I have found that often the shy person in the back is the most interesting.

Exactly, Ally Ann. Shy people are the most intresting friends to have. When they relax and get confident with themselves they show their true personality more, and they shine.

I had a period of my life as well that I was this way. but, alas, it didn't take long and I was just the opposite. Great point and finely written piece Dee. I will always try to befriend the shy ones...they seem to have the greatest stories to tell.
