Needing each other stop loneliness

The lonely heart the strives to be content

we all want to be loved, held, cared for

and

made to feel safe and secure.

We don't mind

quite times to be in solitude

and to relax

on our days off,

with feet up

and to chill.

But,  long run

we all need each other

to be there.

In good times

and more so in bad!

But

you could be in a crowded room

and still be lonely

and sad.

Sometimes, we don't always see

the sadness

and hurt in other

peoples eyes.

Look closer

and seek,

and you shall find

not everyone

is

smiling

and happy

living inside

with

you as company

from

family to neighbours

or even friends.

We all need

someone,

to lean on

and talk with

or to give us a hug

or even

just to reassure

us

everything

is

going to be okay.

Outwith a chat

and a

simple hello.

please look out

for the elderly

and people

who live alone too.

let alone

the homless

as well.

As you see

we all need

each other

in this vast world.

Don't be selfish

and don't care.
