Fear Of Fear and so much more besides ... Social Anxiety Disorder Also called Social Phobia.

This is a touchy subject. As it is very close to home for me. A loved one. Suffers extremely badly from this illness. And it is hard to help, understand and relate at times. But I try my very best to.

Social Anxiety Disorder

is a

Longterm Lasting

and overwhelming

fear

Of

Social Situations

and

communicating

with anyone

in general.

It is an intense fear

that never goes

away

and effects

everyday activities

and relationships.

How would you feel

to have this illness?

To give you

a better

 idea

of what

that feels like

for someone

who suffers

from this

terrible illness.

It really is life

debilitating

soul destroying

and you have

lost all self-worth

and confidence

within yourself.

It can cause you

to have

extreme anxiety attacks

depression

Paranoia

and even feelings of

wanting

to kill yourself

to stop your

neverending

struggles

Suffering

constantly

24/7.

Wanting

To end

it all basically.

These thoughts

and feelings

of

Hell going

on

inside

your

mind and body.

All the time.

With basically

no rest.

Unless your

asleep

or

In your

only safe

haven of

a tiny home.

Indoors,

Locked

away

from

society

and

"Normal

life".

As you

are so

Scared,

Fearful,

Dread filled

Constantly

not feeling

you are alive

or living your

life to the full

as you are

just on pause

in general.

As truthfully

you are not

living your

are just

existing

breathing

and no more.

It is like for

an example

You want to answer

a phone

on the

house landline

But you

Just can not

You are so

scared,

anxious

worried

stressed out

at the idea

and thoughts

of doing just

that

answering

the phone.

And this goes

for many

and all

situations you

could be in.

From just leaving

your home.

And

meeting

a neighbour

you do not

even know.

And scared witless

 they

will try to

communicate

with you.

Just by saying

a simple Hello.

This puts you

in a fight

or flight  mode

and you

run.

Physically

and mentally

away.

That is just two

example.

Imagine how

this affects

you all the time.

In other situations

in general?

It really is hell

for them

tormented

and so unhappy

not at easy.

ps  I am not saying

I understand all

and can relate

to everything

I can not.

But I do

understand

what it is

like to see

someone

I love

suffer daily.

It is heartbreaking

and soul destroying

to try

to help

support

and give

comfort.

This was to just

show Him I love

him no matter

what.

None of us

are perfect

least of all me.

I wish I could

heal him

and make him

happy

and feel

good about

himself.

It's a totally inspiring kind of genre selected...can't deny am also a socially awkward person and sometimes feel the suffocation in the crowd will just kill me....however close family members are there to help me out....!!
I think if a little step towards getting mixed into outer world....obviously not nose poking but to understand the things ongoing may help in this....not seems but extremely serious matter...thanks for writing this Dee😊

I know how it feels to not be able to interact with people, as i have a friend who doesn't like to go out in public because of this fear... Thanks for shedding light on it with this write..

your prose fills me with agony, also with an explainable joy which does not seem to correlate in that i am not alone, as i ponder many in like state, your caring, your love for this person involved is reassuring. Love Love Love in the midst of hell and suffering

I like topic, very real and interesting read, the structure of this though was hard to read for me. I kept having to go back and reread areas as it confused me on if you were trying to make certain words more important or scattered. Otherwise I though it had strong roots. :)
