To the point you need, eyes in the back of your head.

To the point you need, eyes in the back of your head.

A Poem by Onlyme

I remember as a kid
young teenager
being able to walk
to school
or college
in safety
and be
able
to walk
home later
and be okay.

I also remember
when it was safe
to leave your front door
unlocked
and just friends
and neighbours
would knock
and
come in.

I also remember
when.
You would
not worry
when your
young son or daughter
would go
out to the
clubs and pubs in
their early 20s
and come home
safe and alive
again at night
after just
enjoying a
simple good
night out
on the town.

Nowadays
seem to be
a battlefield.
Where
you are constantly
worried
or living in
fear.

Life is too short
But
sadly this
modern life
is getting
more twisted
and cruel.

To the point
you need
eyes
in the back
of your head.

Yes we do... I blame it on the fact of taking religion and punishments and the pledge out of schools... Also media doesn't help or all the movies with violence and gore and games that should be tossed out... Kids don't spend time out playing it is locked in a room with a video game in front of them... Thanks for sharing

It's still here in South Korea and Japan. In Japan and Korea, you'll see five-year-olds alone running an errand. Usually no farther from a few blocks away to get last minute grocery items. It's really safe in Korea and Japan! There has been a few several pedophiles who raped and killed small children, but that's a small percentage in our country
