Overcoming Abuse.

My mother tried with all her might

to be good and true and thoughtful

She was the type of person that

was considerate and could make

you laugh at times.

But behind her nature and behind

closed doors. Hid a secret never to

be told. She was abused by the

hands of others. She was used

and mistreated as was I too.

To stop the abuse. You have

to speak out. To stop the pain.

You have to express and tell.

My dear poor mother I forgive her

for the pain and hurt she caused me

as she lashed out. And what my

father did to me as well. I am still learning

to forgive each and every day still at times

When I think and reflect on the past.

None of us is perfect. None of us.

Live in a golden castle that is perfect

and refined each and every day.

But a real home with real

problems. That not everyone sees

or hears or tells out loud. To just

anyone. What goes on inside.

But be brave take strength in knowing

one day you will take flight comfort

and fight back for oneself

and be free. From all that hurts you. And ills

you. And you will grow and become wiser and

happier and even stronger with time and proper

real compassionate down to earth love, support

and understand from others who have been where

you are.

You must be great to forgive everyone...You are actually true that we should speak out...I know that sometimes our past leaves so deep impression on our present that we are unable to erase those...But you now maasi my mom says that learn from your past and live in your present....I can understand your pain..Maybe i cannot ...Maybe no one can ever because we never went to it..But i am happy when you write here , i feel that you are trying to express yourself and this help you feel better..Again , the same thing keep on writing..
