Rainy Days

Rainy Days

A Poem by Onlyme

Raining upon my window pane
the pitter patter of the tiny
droplets, cascading
upon the glass.
My mind wanders. As I think
of you. On that windswept
rainy day. Last Autumn when
you went down on one knee
and took my hand and asked to
marry me.
Rainy days like these. The fondness
of my memories. Reflect deeply
on my heart. I smile with joy
at that simple act you bestowed
upon me. Forever we are entwined
as one.
An embodiment of heart, mind and soul.
