Nebulous

EYE am here sitting

In a trance as the thoughts run rampant

Who am I

Why am I

For what

How

Will it be okay

How

Does it really have to be this way

No answers just questions that lead to more questions

They play tag-a-long

More like Ping Pong

No direction

I am out of in control in a still state

I look left and right

I can’t look back

I can’t see that far ahead

EYE can see right now and this is where my tragedy lies

In a sedated like state

I can no longer fake the smile, the orgasm, the happiness

Here in a trance

No snapping of the finger to snap me out this

Deal with it my soul says

Why I ask

Will I be alone

Forgot I’ve been alone

Because since I can’t feel myself

I can’t feel anyone else

Why I ask

What about love

Feel like love gave up on me

EYE know how love should feel

Like the song I can’t stop  dancing to

Like the laughter that grabs a hold of me

Like the taste of sweet fruit that is good for me

Like conversation that leads to life

Like the hug that lingers

Like music with that dope beat on repeat

Here in a trance

Still

Paused

My thoughts running rampant

My soul ask “Here or there?”

I wanna go there where

The cups always runneth over

Like a good old record that never gets stuck

Like a baby who can’t stop laughing

Like the quarterback who runs 100 yards for the touchdown

Here in a trance

I look left and right

Can’t see what is behind

Can see what is ahead

Getting up now
