Home?

Home?

A Poem by Paige Allison Willmont

I look around,
I see tall glass buildings,
broken down buildings.
Where's my farm
when can I go home?
This place is not home,
I will never call it home.
It's not my home, my home is
filled with Daisey's
has the fresh smell of cows.
My home is very far away
and at this moment, this is my temporary home.

But I will be home soon.

There is nothing worse than being homesick in a strange new place. Nicely written.

A very touching and personal poem about someone who feels lost in their current home. Overall, very well written and well done.
