Dammaged.

Dammaged.

A Poem by Paige Allison Willmont

I'm not going to cry,

it's not worth it.

Ending this was better in the long run

everytime you were with another girl

my heart felt like it had been shattered,

I still forgave you. I still accepted your love.

Knowing that you still turned around

and talked about me behind my back,

you can kiss me goodbye.

Cause' I ain't comin' back

this is the last you'll ever

see me talking to ya.

The pain I have thinking about

the years we spent together,

are damaged in seconds.

All I remember is all our

fights, all our nights where you

controlled me.

The word 'Love' means nothing to you.

The sheer weight and heartbreak of what happened carries clearly through this poem. very powerful and in it's open and raw sort of way very heartbreaking itself.

Wow. This is super honest. Below are my favorite parts:

"The pain I have thinking about
the years we spent together,
are damaged in seconds."

"All I remember is all our
fights, all our nights where you
controlled me."

A short, but powerful poem. It was very well written and seems very personal.
