Mistakes.

Mistakes.

A Poem by Paige Allison Willmont

Teenagers make mistakes,
But when you learn from
your mistakes,
that is true beauty.

You have the power to be yourself
to make choices,
don't dwell on the mistakes in life
change your future
by being bright.

Mistakes often make life
and sometimes death;
we're expected to be perfect.

Perfection gets us no where.

"Mistakes often make life

Could be a quote in and of itself. I couldn't agree more with the premise of this piece either, no matter how horrible any mistake may seem letting something like that dominate your life, who are you and what you'll be, it isn't right. The ability to dust yourself off afterwords knowing that no one is perfect is what matters.
