Waking up to You

Waking up to You

Elle is done with serious talk for now. For now, she's enjoying a relaxing morning with her true love, Luke.

"

That night, we laid on the couch for a long time. Luke played a video game on my Xbox, once I was calmed down. I watched for a bit, lying on, and next to him. I easily fell asleep, and after a while, Luke turned off the Xbox, and went to sleep, as well, cuddling with me.

The next morning, I was so thankful that it was Saturday, and that the school week was over. I woke up in Luke’s arms, curled up, against him. I sat up a bit, trying not to wake Luke. I looked over at him, just to see him doing the same to me. He smiled, his perfect smile. I grinned, and fell back onto the couch, showing how tired I was. Luke put his arm around me, and pulled me into him.

Good morning,” He said. I smiled, and paused, looking into his eyes.

“Good morning.” He sighed after a moment, and forced himself to sit up. He had taken off his shirt, which showed his attractive, very muscular upper body, and had the same baggy grey sweatpants as before. He ran his fingers through his hair, and stretched quickly.

“I should probably go with your parents here,” He said, grabbing his tee shirt off the floor.

“They left early this morning to go to my sister’s soccer tournament,” I said into my blanket. He nodded.

“Okay, then. Let’s do something.” I groaned. He laughed, and began tearing the blanket away from me.

Stop iiitttt,” I told him. He smiled.

“So, you’re not gonna get up?” I nodded.

“Fine then,” He said. He walked over, and scooped me up from the couch, cradling me in his arms. I laughed.

“Put me down!” I pleading. He smiled, and walked up the stairs, to the main level. I rubbed my face. He laid me down on the counter, my bare back hitting the cold surface. I was flat on the table top. “Whyyyyy,” I complained. He smiled his perfect, cute, smile. I still wore my Calvin Klein sports bra, and sweatpants, which showed my toned stomach, and arms. Luke walked over to the pantry.

“Want breakfast?” He asked. I shook my head. He turned towards me. “What? Are you going to skip it?” He asked. I shrugged.

“Probably.” He looked through the pantry.

“You know, you should probably eat a bunch of junk food, so people stop calling you Anorexic,” My expression turned from silly, to serious, and depressed. He noticed immediately, and took a few, long, jogging steps towards me. He wrapped his arms around my thin waist, and lifted my back off of the counter.

“Hey, beautiful, I didn’t mean to make you sad!” He said, holding me tight. I sighed, wrapping my arms around his neck.

“I know you didn’t. It’s not your fault.” I slid off of the counter. He continued to hold me tight around my waist. “It’s just that,” I began, “We shouldn’t please them by making me fat,” Luke laughed.

“I’m not saying you should get fat! All I’m saying is that you should eat breakfast!” He joked. He grabbed his keys, and slid on his shirt.

“Are you leaving me?” I asked him.

“No,” He said. “I’m taking you.”
