Cancerous

Cancerous

A Poem by Ally Ann
"

I can barely get it into words how much it hurts

"
It's labored breathing
and breaking hearts
It's not know where to
start with goodbyes
It's teardrops
and achy chests
It's losing the only reason
you had left.
It's sick days
and sick leaves
so you don't miss those days
that are fleeting away.
It's feeling numb
and feeling dead
It's not being able to get these thoughts
out of your head.
It's running on empty
and holding back tears
It's realizing you're
reliving your greatest fears
It's nightmares
and things you'll remember for years
It's not know what to do when it ends.

Its a sense of perpetual doom and your words are mirroring my emotions -"It's not know what to do when it ends." Expressed beautifully!

Yes, that is precisely what it feels like. Very vivid and stark Ally! Good writing and I don't fail to see your imagery.
