Conflict

Conflict

A Poem by Iz

Stillness and silence
room packed with bodies
mouths moving and speakers blaring
yet eardrums feel no vibration

locked gazes across the room
sweating palms
skipped heartbeat
quickened pulse
flushed face

recognizition after years passed
reawakened love and yearning

conflicting battle
yes stay and not change
no go and be free
love yet again
