Almost Framed

Almost Framed

A Poem by Iz

I was just sitting here
When the cops came up
And I saw the little snitch
pointing his boney little fingers at me

I didn't do it
How was I to know
That I needed an alibi
When all I was doing was
sitting in the park enjoying the sun

While down on 4th street a man
He was being robbed and all he knew
Was the man aparently
Looks like poor little ole me

I bet if you actually do some police work
You lazy fat slob
You will finally see
The man you're looking for
Well, it just isn't me.
So put down the donuts
Get out of your car
And actually get some exercise in

Look down in the alley
Look in the surrounding buildings
And maybe you should just ask the people
Just what they saw
And I bet they'll tell you
MISTER Police man
Turn around you fool
That the man you're looking for
Is up there on the ROOF
