shadows on the earthA Poem by Itsalright_mavery short poem
Sleepless, in a people's key my song is sung,
of Solomon, of myself, in my head the loud silence sounds echoes of static to the passers by. Suburban sidewalk coroners play with puns in astral projections and observe themselves floating through the ether with peace; solid dreams subject themselves to clouds of smoke, proslogion; simple as a cigarette or the rays of sunlight that leak through the blinds when morning lengthens shadows on the earth. © 2011 Itsalright_maAuthor's Note
