Heart Monior in One Tone

Heart Monior in One Tone

A Poem by Itsalright_ma
"

gently breaking through

"
Found the ether,
that lost substance
contained by love and mercy,
that subtle space where from springs forth beauty
in whatever form;
comfort, tempests and soft whisperings,
agony, her twin sister ecstasy in passion,
never to be proven in this sacred plane we walk by.
Time, compartmentalized into useful order,
or the substrate of eternal echoes,
God's thunder surfacing to our senses
where we find our artistic desires satisfied.
Not since, or before this moment,
have we experienced anything at all,
be it synthetic as calculus or simple as a honeypot.
Silence rises darkly
before memories of our mental endeavors;
the fragrance and vision of a rose,
the love contained in a gentle touch.

Grammar, obviously; punctuation as well. Happily moving on, I'm working on bringing feeling into my poetry. I hope you enjoy it.
