Natural Conditions and Premonitions

Natural Conditions and Premonitions

A Poem by Chase

The sky has swollen eyes of grey
who's main intent is drown the day.

Down below on growing toes
the trees are ignorant of woes.

Pumpkin orange and
Blood-drip red,
the colored leaves look far from dead.

If only this beauty was not a sign
of days to be and

snow-filled skies.
