Time of Now

Time of Now

A Poem by Chase

In shade of the riverbank
upon a blanket spread
they rest.

His fingers trickle through her
so short hair like
water on rock.

They laugh and they talk
of things that won't matter
ten years from today,
For they are living during this moment.
They are laughing in this time..

The Place of Now.

I like this poem its has a pretty good meaning. We should live in the present, in the now. What is in the past we cant change so we should just let it go. The future we will never know. So we should concentrate on the here the now. Although that is hard to do sometimes.
Great poem and message. :)

Seemingly pleasant at start..(and actually all the way through.... unless you are me and the realization of mortality kicks in.*and once again i face it ....you just never know...it is merely minutes that can change a world
bittersweet if you ask me.. and makes me wish i savor experiences even more than the illusions of actually finding some exceptional moment to appreciate it...
f@cking excellent submission dude...
