Life In Wounds

Life In Wounds

A Poem by Chase

Each morning brings the sky to bruise,
with blacks and blues of many hues.

The moon begins to fade away
and as its ghost-- a dawning day.

Someone cauterized the sky,
so beautifully with iron dye.

The cycle starts over anew
with sparkling life

of day new dew.
