Roots

Roots

A Poem by Chase

A shift in the air; subtle
but there.

This power is one as old as time-
the force of which is...
kind
but unmatched.

It flows from earth to stem tips true,
enhancing every drop of dew.

We find it where the critters buzz;
where they chirp and
live their lives-
for we were there once
too.

The Earth has energy
boundless stores.
It might be what you're looking for.
