Rolling uphill

Rolling uphill

A Poem by Chase

The you that chooses what to be,
the you that chooses who,
is not creating a you brand new,
but rather you, with work to do.
Fill the cracks inside your mind
with dedicated thoughts;
follow through each and every day
before your body rots.
Roll out of bed, if thats what it takes.
Hit the floor and roll away.
Up the hills and to the lake,
make a full speeded mistake.
No one but you can journey forth
with will to fill those cracks.
Take the time to love yourself.
Take the time to care.
One day a time is how to live!
And things won't always be fair..
But try, fail, and try again.
Someday, you'll be there.

Again- a poem I need to read daily. I really liked "fill the cracks inside your mind" part. That line was cleverly written!
