Love In WhiteA Poem by ChaseDon't underestimate your pets.
Tears flow down my heated cheeks and
my eyes are swollen shut. The world looks like a blurry slit and my nose is all stuffed up. Broken sobs wrack through my chest while unbeknownst to me, somehow a golfballs' in my throat, asphyxiating. My blur of white passes to sight till she's all I can see. She licks the tears and puffy eyes till once more, I can breathe. I wouldn't trade her for the world, though my world, she is to me. © 2015 ChaseReviews
