Self-Induced Short Circuit

An expense of self...

Each morning new, it is.
To be used, or not, is user's choice
but
to use is an expense so great
that the mind shall be overrun
with such power,
that the only escape is
to no longer run;
but it is bliss.

A very out-of-the-box guess, and a good try!! I don't really consider brainwashing to have nearly this amount of power, though. More of a dull throbbing one that ebbs into your mind.

For some reason I'm thinking this is about pleasuring oneself? My guess is probably off...I read it a few times to figure it out. I like that you made us guess. It definitely makes the mind work and wonder! Sometimes I purposefully make a poem so that people can have their own interpretation of it.

well i like this poem, but im not sure what its about, so ill take a guess. by the first two stanzas "each morning new, it is. to be used or not is the users choice." makes me think you are talking about a new day and how you choose whether or not you use it. and the next part where it talks about how you use it at a great expense, i kind of think you mean stress and depression? and the only escape is to not live at all? i don't know, but that's my guess.

Very far from my ambiguous truth but I applaud your effort at trying to decipher the meaning!! Its definitely not an obvious thing but.. I like to make people work for things sometimes. And even without knowing the meaning I itend, you can take from it whatever you like, such as your interpretation :) Thank you for the review!
