I guess I have no hands today

I guess I have no hands today

A Poem by Chase

Well, I guess I have no hands today.
My bed will stay unmade,
with no hands to fold the blankets or
fluff the pillows soft.
I guess I have no hands today and so
inside the dog will stay,
since I cant turn the knob
to let him out the door to play.
I guess I have no hands today
and now my breath would truly slay
any who smell its wrath.
My teeth still are unbrushed with that
night-residue called plaque.
I really need my hands right now
as through a can of tin I chow
to get the soup within.
My face is getting bruised today
and really is in great great pain.
I fall with every single step
because my laces trip untied
while to the floor my face does fly
with no hands to brace the fall.
I'm nearly going mad today
as faith affirmed I pray and pray for
that itch behind my ear to go away.
No fairytale for me tonight
for no fingers to turn on light
or even turn the page.
I wish I had my hands today.

Yeah..that sounded quite shel silvertine (new word!)...it gets a bit jumbled up and confusing in between, but the listing is quite perfect...it's like you did your homework by actually trying a hands-free day.. >.<
Good job!
