A Poem by Chase
"

For all the mothers.

"
The one who's shoulder you gently shake, late at night, when sickness has evolved.
None other than she would be so quickly shaken from the draw of dreams when
the whisper of progeny is near.

The one to who you admit, the little things;
a divulgence of weight that lessens the burdens we carry: day to day.

The one who teaches you what it means to drop and pick yourself back up,
while being better for the fall.

She will love you more than any pet,
any partner,
any one.

She is your mother-
and she deserves love.
