The Way of Life is Difficult

The Way of Life is Difficult

A Poem by Chase

A simple blade to the wrists;
an attempt at flying off a mountain,
though we all know it's really just an exhilarating fall
and a sudden stop.
A gentle swaying in the wind as
back and forth you swing
with the hugging rope upon your throat.
The way to death is simple.

The possibilities are endless and unrefined,
infinite.

Why, though, would you cut yourself short of a life that could have been...
More?
Why hurt those who love you?
And there always is someone.
What purpose does it serve to sever your ties with this world when there is so much LIVING to be done?
Don't use a permanent solution to solve temporary problems.
Live.
