Forgotten

Forgotten

A Poem by Chase

The fateful words
I wish I'd heard
Sparks to thought
Advances spurned
I love you, life
I love you, pain
Sharp as this knife
Held in my hand
To cut the strain
The flowing sand
Deserved, this fate
I share with you
My thoughts of late

Short and powerful. With so little amount of words you have manage to convey so much more.

Thank you very much. I generally prefer shorter lines and stanzas, i can get them to flow better.
