Inconsequential

Inconsequential

A Poem by Chase

Frogs are to shadows
As I am to you
Perhaps we've met
But what has that got to do
With who we are?
Nothing
Therefore, Live
As though that kitten
Never walked by, but
Don't forget
To remember
To swim
Among the timber
In protection of self
And others
Who does care
Despite what is seen
Live within your flare
As though the shadow
Hadn't wandered by
To disturb
Your peace
