There and not

There and not

A Poem by Chase

Can you see me, hiding here?
Playing in your sight
To most others I am clear
Until taking flight

Who I am, speaks of life
Unfortunately plans have changed
From behind, a subtle knife
Colorfully it rains

Through myself, odds and ends
Gone to those who wont
You've changed it, my inner self
The hounds at my throat

Moving past what is said and done
Well, I can't, not now
You're all up on velvet thrones
Ever shall I vow
