Control

Control

A Poem by Chase

Newly broken
Freshly healed
Weakened fragile state
I'm open weaved for few and you
Transparent and see through
Colored with jealousy, pain, and care
These things you've handed me
Taken care to you, afflictions
Just a chance, I plea
Shot down and shattered twice
Never will you see
Of you I've kept a broken piece
Made my own and self
A suit of armor
Fleece
Soft but strong as steel
Comforting but filled with sadness
I long for your embrace,
And time again, when you
See me
