fire blueA Poem by oneinoneto a lonely girl who's only ever known suffering and hard worka burnt
child loves the fire, burn burn
burn but never
tire, never stop,
never turn. the beauty
of it, is the pain the warmth,
a chilling reminder of what she
stands to gain by the
flames that scream for her. she craves
the blaze as much it
does her. you can see
in her gaze the need to
stand and never stop. because
what will happen when her
best friend leaves her, leaving
smoke behind in its wake her only
constant, pain and suffering just make
way for the disappointment because who
said she has the right to be her tired? hello smoke you cloud
her eyes, take away her vision, you make it
hard for her to breath and yet you
hurt more than the burns on her body because you
don’t hurt at all. what will
she do now? how will
she get her fire back? But she
learnt to live in fire she can
learn to live in the smoke all by
herself. other fires that of
softness and true warmth that burn
golden and not blue like hers. they’ll
take away her constant. so isn’t it
better to master
the smoke than tame
the gold that threatens to burn her from the inside out? © 2023 oneinoneAuthor's Note
